Our Story

Merchology was founded by Richard (Dick) Ward, Andrew Ward, and Ally (Ward) Delgado, and opened its doors in early 2014. After 28 years in the corporate apparel industry, Dick’s vision was to launch an e-commerce business model that made the gear ordering process faster, cheaper, and more transparent for businesses. Merchology is redefining quality and ease of ordering in the corporate apparel and gifts space. We help businesses of all sizes and industries co-brand with the top retail brands in all of their favorite product categories.

Our Team

You may have guessed it by reading the names of our founders... Merchology is a family owned and operated business! When we launched Merchology back in 2014, there were only 11 of us. Now we have a team of over 175 employees between our Minnetonka, Minnesota headquarters, Reno, Nevada facility, and our newly opened Harrisburg, Pennsylvania facility!

At Merchology, we are committed to putting people first. It is our goal to make each customer feel understood and appreciated, which is why we offer all-inclusive pricing, fast turnaround times, and a dedicated customer service representative (called a Merchologist!) for the duration of your order. Feed My Starving Children Volunteer Event

The Merchology team is also very active in the community. Our Giveback team is constantly planning charitable events to benefit the environment and those in need. Some of our past giveback initiatives include volunteer events with Feed My Starving Children, The Mississippi Park Connection, Fill the Backpack, and Toys for Tots.

Sustainable Business Practices

We believe that business need to take the lead on sustainability to really make a difference. That's why we have ramped up our sustainability efforts more than ever. Since 2017 Merchology has donated 1% of all sustainable brand revenue to environmental causes through our membership to the 1% for the Planet program. We have also switched over to a more sustainable shipping process by partnering with EcoEnclose and International Paper for 100% recycled shipping boxes and poly mailer bags.

We are proud to offer a wide range of eco-friendly products as well, including apparel and gifts from Patagonia, S'well, and econscious. We still didn't feel like we were doing enough though, so we decided to launch our very own sustainable clothing brand...

Zusa is Born

We wanted a better way to co-brand, so we made it ourselves. More specifically, our goal was to create a clothing brand that's sustainably made, ethically sourced, built for comfort, and designed with blank space in all the right spots for your custom screen printed or embroidered company logo.

In October 2019 the Zusa brand was introduced to the world. Our sustainability principles were interwoven in the brand, as 89% of the Zusa line of apparel is currently made from recycled materials and 100% of Zusa products are made in facilities that set the standard in environmentally conscious production practices!
