When to Choose Puff Embroidery

No Minimum Option Needed: Puff embroidery at Merchology does not require a product minimum. Product minimums still apply.

Heavy Fabrics: Puff embroidery works especially well with custom sweatshirts and workwear. It offers a premium look to your custom gear.

Custom Hats: Puff embroidery is often used to create added height for custom caps. It's bold and noticeable, perfect for when you want your merch to really stand out.

Puff Embroidery Isn't a Good Fit For:

Intricate Designs: The thickness of puff embroidery lines doesn't allow for fine details in logos and designs. This includes thin text. 

Very Restrictive Budgets: Since puff embroidery uses more thread than traditional embroidery, this method has a higher cost.

Multicolor Logos: Puff embroidery works best for single-color logos, though in certain cases two-color logos are allowed. Contact your rep for more information. See all thread color options here.

Thin Fabrics: Puff embroidery is not suitable for thin fabrics as the heavier embroidery can cause thin materials to warp or bend.
