• The colors shown in the embroidery proof are the colors and numbers associated with specific thread colors. To view all thread colors please click here.

• The colors of the thread in the embroidery proof may vary slightly on different computer screens due to the digital rendering of the image. Please reference our thread color page for the most accurate representation of each color.

• We are only able to show one color variation with a proof. Please reference the colors listed in the ‘Colors On’ section to see the 2nd colorway. If you would like to see the 2nd colorway, please submit that as an edit request.

  To submit an edit request, please disapprove your logo in Logohub and submit edit notes. This will prevent your logo from becoming auto-approved via the 48-hour approval window.

• We are limited to the thread colors on our provided list, if you are looking for a specific thread color please communicate that with your rep. Typically, we can find a near-exact match to almost all PMS colors but this occurs additional fees and can extend lead times.

• The background color of the embroidery proof is a digital color swatch that best represents the color of the items purchased in the order.

• If camouflage or heathered items were ordered, the digital color swatch will not be able to show this pattern.

• The background color shown will not be decorated on the final item, it is the visual representation of the actual items ordered.

• All logos are sized based on the smallest garment sizes purchased and the industry standard for each logo placement location.

• For general apparel, the standard logo embroidery size is 3 to 3.5 inches wide.

• For hats, the standard logo embroidery size is 3 to 4 inches wide, with a max height of 2 inches.

• When resizing the embroidery proof, Merchology must adjust both the height and width in order to keep the image proportional. If we were to only adjust one, the logo image would be distorted.

Our embroidery proofs are represented as digital art renderings of the same files can but can be used on a multitude of different items. The image shows the exact stitches used to create the full embroidery artwork of your logo design. All additional details, including the size, location, and thread colors of your logo, can be found in addition to your digital proof.

• If you would like to see your logo mocked up on an item within your order, please submit that through as an edit request. To submit an edit request, please disapprove your logo in Logohub and submit edit notes. This will prevent your logo from becoming auto-approved via the 48-hour approval window.
• If your order includes multiple categories of items to be embroidered (such as polos, hats, bags, etc.) you may be receiving several proofs to approve. This ensures that your logo is decorated correctly on each different item type.

Merchology offers 1 logo to be embroidered with up to 10,000 stitches. Any logo that exceeds this stitch count limit will be charged between $6.00 - $8.00 per item to cover the additional stitches. This additional fee must be paid prior to being able to approve the embroidery proof.

If your logo exceeds the 10,000 stitch maximum, however you wish to avoid this additional fee, submit this through as an edit request. To submit an edit request, please disapprove your logo in Logohub and submit edit notes. This will prevent your logo from becoming auto-approved via the 48-hour approval window.

• Print Proofs: PMS colors are used with this decoration method.
• Laser Engraving Proofs: Laser engraved items will not have colors, but instead remove the top layer finish to show the material below. Any colors shown are displaying the underlying tones and not added colors.

• Merchology can only use PMS colors for any print decorations. This includes screen printing, heat transfer, digital printing, pad printing, vinyl transfer, and more.
• Some items do have a maximum amount of colors that can be used.

No problem! First, disapprove your logo in Logo Hub and submit an edit note that you will need more time. This will prevent your logo from becoming auto-approved via the 48-hour approval window.

Then, reach out to us at orders@merchology.com and let us know the timeline you're working with. From there we'll reset a proof approval date that works for you and your order.

This will cause a delay in your order's production time and "Ships By" date.

Once a proof is approved in our system, we are unable to make any further edits.

Any delays in approval or multiple edits to the logo will delay the order.

• Please approve your proof within 24 hours to avoid any delays to the order.
• Logos must be given feedback within 48 hours, otherwise, the logos will be automatically approved and the order will be moved into production.
• If you have not communicated a deadline, please approve your proof as soon as possible and reach out to orders@merchology.com.

After your logo is approved, it will be kept in the logo library of your Merchology account. You will be able to easily use this logo on future orders by simply selecting the "Logo on File" option on the product page, logging into your Merchology account, and then selecting the logo file from your library.
